Adlabs Imagica
Adlabs Imagica, Indias first big amusement park, �opens its door to visitors on April 18, Thursday.
The theme park is very special for its exclusive Indian flavour with its rides mostly inspired by Indian folk tales and culture.
� � � � �Adlabs Imagica, which is touted to be South Asias largest theme park, is spread across 110 acres and situated near Khopoli on the Mumbai-Pune expressway.
� It has been built with an investment of about Rs 1,200 crore.
� Totally, the theme park has 21 tourist attractions paired with sophisticated technologies, such as the 4D simulation technology.
Sixteen of these attractions are ready to use, and the rest will be ready by June.
� All the 21 rides are made with international standards and among them one is based on Bollywood film Mr Indi. Adlabs Imagica will have five restaurants, including an American diner, a Mexican joint and a restaurant where food is served on a mini-roller coaster.
� The company said that at present 110 acres are developed and it would begin developing the remaining 190 acres only if the response to the current 110 acres is overwhelming.
