The Sounds of Nature and Man
Listen carefully and you can hear nature's songs in addition to the beautiful bandish offered here by the young Khan, SAK. It's hypnotic tone and cadence were mesmerizing and delightful. And again, consistent with his gracious nature, SAK collaborated with a beginner tabla student, Omar Haqqani. Omar certainly will remember this evening for many years to come. As no doubt, will the birds of the desert who heard this prince of the Sham Chourasia Gharana on this evening.
