The heights of love
With a combined height of 423.47cm (13 ft 10.72), Chinese sport stars Sun Mingming and his wife Xu Yan claimed the Guinness title for the tallest married couple in London on September 10. They were measured at 236.17cm (7 ft 8.98) and 187.3cm (6 ft 1.74) respectively.

The tallest basketball player, Sun Mingming, and handball player Xu Yan (both CHN) were married in Beijing, China, on 4 Aug 2013. They stand 236.17 cm (7 ft 8.98 in) and 187.3 cm (6 ft 1.74 in) tall respectively, as measured in Beijing on 14 Nov 2013. Their heights total 423.47 cm (13 ft 10.72 in), beating the previous record by 4.37 cm (1.72 in).
