Wonderful Floating Faucet Fountains
The floating tap feature is a brilliant impression. It contain a tap amazingly hanging above a pool or container with an endless supply of water gushing out of it from apparently nowhere. The tap remains amazingly steady despite having no visible support and where is all this water coming from? This amazing effect is achieved by a clear pipe in the middle of the water pillar that holds the tap in place and, at the same time, keeps providing it with water injected from below. The water goes up through the pipe and leaves at the top. The water pillar, which is usually strong, effectively conceals the pipe from view.
Several giant floating tap fountains can be found around Spain, Belgium, US, Canada and other parts of the world. Some are permanent installation, others are temporary art pieces. The one below is located at Aqualand, Puerto de Santa MarÃa, Spain.
Another one is seen at a public park in Olivenza, Spain.
